THE CHALLENGE

2011 marked 40 years of operation for Carina Leagues Club.  Grand Brands' services were enlisted to help raise the Club’s profile by generating positive news stories emphasising the Club's continuous community support and involvement.


THE SOLUTION

After creating the tagline “40 Years of Giving…” Grand Brands devised a media savvy campaign surrounding this phrase. Journalists, editors and reporters were alerted to positive events happening within the Club, and media releases were disseminated, highlighting community activities and outcomes, as well as charity fundraisers.


THE OUTCOME

Grand Brands secured more than $5000 (equivalent advertising value) of media coverage during the campaign, which included in direct positive mentions of Carina Leagues Club in both local papers and The Courier Mail.
